FLEXXFLOORS LOOSE LAY SYSTEM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION
It is so simple to lay a Flexxfloors floor which is fast, easy and you will not be inconvenienced by dust, residual waste or noise. You will not need heavy tools or machines: a pencil and the Flexxfloors knife and ruler are all you need. These have been designed exclusively for Flexxfloors and will ensure even more ease when laying the floor. In addition, you will also work safely and accurately because of the gradient ruler and the simple cutting method. Let's get started!
Flexxfloors are laid directly on a clean and flat substrate or simply over your old flooring. However, the old flooring must be completely flat! Below you will find concise instructions for laying the floor. It is this simple to install Flexxfloors floors in 9 easy steps

In order to prevent any imperfections in the installed Flexxfloors floor, the underlying surface must be smooth and flat. Level the floor if necessary. |

Leave Flexxfloors in the room for 48 hours before installation. The surface must be clean, dust-free and dry year round. |

Start installation from a corner (left). Leave 1 mm room for expansion. |

If the last part is shorter than 30 cm, shorten the first part with half of the remaining part. |

Shorten the first plank on the second row by about one-third. |

Lay out the following strips. Make sure all strips are laid tightly and perpendicular to the strips which are already laid out, as a completed floor cannot or can hardly be corrected.

To make the floor fit properly at the opposite wall,turn the plank horizontal 180 degrees. Place the plank against the wall and mark off the edge (of the decor!). Cut it lightly over the full length by using a stanley knife and break gently. |

Turn the plank 180 degrees and place it in the floor. Your floor is now ready. Finish the job by covering the edges with a skirting against the wall. |
